Current protection unit
Current protection unit CPU is designed for integration into mine set electrical equipment (compact stations and control stations) and start-protection apparatus with voltage up to 1140 V of alternate current and frequency 50 Hz, which functions as a safety device protecting three-phase power consumers against overcurrent, short-circuit failures and phase distortion by switching them off supply network.
The unit can be designed in the following versions:
CPU-01 — for integration into mine set electrical equipment;
CPU-02 — for integration into mine start-protection apparatus.
Electrical equipment and apparatus with the integrated unit are to have minimum ingress protection rating lP54. The unit is intended for operation in cold-temperature climatic regions and is produced in the version MCC (moderately cold climate) category 5 according to State Standard 15150-69.
The unit provides actuating relay disconnection when the actual current value exceeds maximum current protection setting and causes short-term (maximum 1 s) supply voltage rise up to 150% from the rated voltage.
